Certified Flight Instructor Course

The Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Course is designed for pilots who are ready to share their passion for aviation and train the next generation of aviators. This program emphasizes teaching techniques, flight safety, and FAA standards to prepare you for the responsibilities of flight instruction. With a combination of ground and flight training, the CFI course will enhance your knowledge and develop your skills as both a pilot and an educator.

Flight Training

Part 61:
To obtain a Flight Instructor (CFI) license, a minimum of 15 PIC hours in a single-engine aircraft is required. Additionally, you must complete training in stall awareness, spin entry, spins, and spin recovery.

The training duration is from 2 to 3 months, depending on the student’s schedule and progress.

Requirements

  • Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate
  • Hold at least a Third Class Medical certificate
  • Be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • TSA approval for non-U.S. citizens

Paperwork

  • Registration form (completed at the flight school)
  • Copy of passport

Payment Options

Option 1: As they go
The student has to make payments as he/she progresses through the course. A security deposit of $1,000 is required, which must be paid before the course begins.

Option 2: Pay upfront
The student can choose to pay the total course cost at once before the course starts. By selecting this option, the student will receive a discount on the total course price.

Option 3: Payment plan
The student can choose to pay in monthly installments, obtaining a discount and locking in prices.
